Get to know Sahab

Sahab brings a shop's daily work into one place — buying, stock, selling, installments and money — and the sidebar shows you only what your role allows.

Sahab is where you run your shop day to day. In it you buy and receive stock, keep track of it, sell for cash, on account or on installments, and keep your registers and accounts straight. Each company has its own workspace, and everyone in it sees only what their role allows.

Where you land after signing in

Sahab opens the company you used last, on the start page that fits you:

  • Owners, managers and most roles start on Home, with today's numbers and shortcuts.
  • Cashiers go straight to Point of sale when the company sells from a point of sale.
  • Staff members who don't see reports start on My information.

The owner can change any user's start page from Workspace → Users.

The sidebar sections

The sidebar follows the way work moves through a shop, from buying to selling to money:

  • Overview: Home, My information, Point of sale and Reports.
  • Procurement: Suppliers, purchase orders under Purchases, Goods receipts and Supplier bills.
  • Inventory: Items, Locations, Stock levels and Stocktakes.
  • Sales: Customers, Cash sales, Returns and Customer receivables.
  • Installments: Installment transactions, Installment dues and Sponsors.
  • Finance: Accounts, Expenses, Registers and Cashier shifts, plus the accounting books for people allowed to see them.
  • Attendance: My attendance, and team attendance for managers.
  • Payroll: Payroll runs and My payslips.
  • Workspace: Companies, Users, Roles & permissions, Configuration Studio and Billing.
  • Account, at the bottom: Profile, and Live support on WhatsApp when it's shown.

Note: A section your role doesn't allow doesn't appear at all. If you need a page you can't see, ask the company owner; the owner hands out roles in Roles & permissions.

Tap a section heading to open or fold it. Next to the Overview heading, a small double-arrow button opens or folds every section at once; hover over it to see Expand all or Collapse all. On a phone the sidebar is hidden: tap the menu button (three lines) at the top of the screen to show it.

The top bar

  • Company name: if you belong to more than one company, tap it and pick the company you want. You switch without signing out.
  • Language menu: switches between Arabic and English.
  • Create: starts the most common jobs, such as a new sale, a purchase order or an expense, without hunting through the sidebar. On a phone it shows only a + sign.
  • Your name: opens a menu with Profile, Take the tour and Sign out.

Tip: If you're new, start with Take the tour from the menu under your name; it walks you through these parts one by one.
