Language and your profile
Switch between Arabic and English from the language menu at the top of the screen, and change your name, sign-in email and preferred language in your Profile.
Sahab shows its screens in Arabic or English, and you choose the language for yourself without changing it for your colleagues. Your Profile is where you change your name and sign-in email.
Change the language
- At the top of the screen, tap the language menu. It shows a globe and the current language's name; on a phone, just the globe and the language code, such as
EN. - A list titled Language opens, with each language under its own name, such as العربية and English.
- Choose a language. The screen switches straight away.
At the bottom of the list you'll see Saved to your profile: Sahab opens in that language on every device you sign in from. On the sign-in page, before you sign in, it says Remembered on this device instead, because the choice stays on that device only.
A cashier at the point of sale finds the language after pressing Menu (the gear icon), in the Till options panel.
Edit your profile
- Open Profile from the menu under your name at the top of the screen, or from Account at the bottom of the sidebar. A cashier finds it under Menu.
- In Profile information, change your Name or Email.
- In Preferred language, choose your language, or choose Use account default (recommended) to let Sahab follow the language chosen on the device you sign in from.
- Press Save.
Your name is what colleagues see in the company and what shows at the top of your screen.
Change your sign-in email
Your email is what you sign in with, and where password reset links go. So:
- When you type a new email, a Current password field appears; enter it, then press Save.
- Sahab sends a verification link to the new address and a warning to the old one.
- Open the link from the new address. The workspace won't open until you confirm it.
Note: If you belong to more than one company, your name and email are the same in all of them, and only you can change them, from your Profile.
Tip: If you get an email saying your account's sign-in email changed and you didn't change it, contact Sahab straight away at the address in that email so they can secure your account.
