Read your company's numbers in Reports
Reports shows what you sold, collected and bought in the period you pick, alongside cash, stock and balances owed as they stand right now.
Reports puts your company's numbers on one page: what was sold, collected and bought in the period you pick, and cash, stock and balances owed as they stand now. Open it from the sidebar: Overview → Reports.
Before you start
- The page opens for anyone with View reports. Owners and managers have it without any setup.
- The Accountant template includes it too, so your accountant opens the page without any extra permission.
Pick the period
The page opens on Today's numbers in the This period section.
Choose This week, This month, This quarter or This year, and the numbers update straight away. For any other period:
- Choose Custom.
- Enter the two dates in From and To.
- Press Apply.
The first and last day of the period show under the buttons, so you know exactly what you're reading.
This period
The numbers on these cards change with the period you pick:
- Income vs expenses: Income, Expense and the Net between them.
- Cash sales: the total and number of sales, split into Collected and On account. Above the card, choose All, Point of sale or Desk to see one source only.
- On-account collections: what you collected from customers on on-account sales.
- Purchases received: the value of goods received from suppliers.
- Supplier payments: what you paid suppliers.
- Installment collections: installment money collected.
Numbers as of now
The following sections carry the As of now badge: they show where things stand right now and don't change with the period.
- Cash on hand: the total per currency, with the balance of each cash, bank and wallet account beside it.
- Stock: Inventory valuation across all stores with the number of items and units. Beside it, Low stock counts the items whose stock is at or below their reorder threshold and lists the ones with the least stock.
- Who owes whom: four cards for what you're owed and what you owe:
- On-account aging: what customers owe on on-account sales.
- AP aging: what the company owes suppliers.
- Installment balances: installments not yet paid.
- Stored value outstanding: customer credit and unused vouchers.
- Installments: Due today and Overdue installments, with Top overdue listing the customer, amount and due date.
On On-account aging, AP aging and Installment balances, the Aging breakdown bar splits the amount by its age in days, so you can spot at a glance what is past 90 days. If your company only sells for cash, the Installments section doesn't concern you.
Press any card to see the detail behind its number.
Note: Cash on hand reads account balances as they are now, so it doesn't change when you pick another period.
Export and the salesperson report
- Press Export CSV to download the page's numbers as a spreadsheet file, for the period and source you picked.
- Press Sales by salesperson to see each salesperson's net sales. The button shows only for people with Sales by salesperson report.
Tip: Once the month is over, choose Custom, enter its first and last day, press Apply, then Export CSV.
What's next
