Payment providers
Under Finance → Payment providers you record the companies that collect card and wallet payments for you, and match what they pay into your account with your sales.
This article is still being written: it explains what the screen is for, and its steps are not written yet.
A payment provider collects what is paid to you by card, wallet or transfer, then pays it out to you later. The money waits in the provider's clearing account until it actually arrives, so the bank balance shows only money that has really landed. When the provider pays out, you record the settlement, pick the sales and returns it covers, and confirm the fees it kept.
You'll find it in the sidebar under Finance → Payment providers. Owners and managers work on it, and so can anyone given a role with the permission to record provider settlements.
