A fixed asset is something the company owns and uses for years, such as a fridge, the till hardware or furniture. You record the asset, its cost, where it is and who holds it, and Sahab depreciates it month by month according to what your company sets in its asset categories. Sahab never picks a useful life on its own; the company enters what it uses.

You'll find it in the sidebar under Finance → Fixed assets. Owners and managers can open it, and so can anyone given a role with the permission to view assets.
