Cash in transit
Under Finance → Cash in transit you send cash from one branch to another or to the bank; it stays on the way until someone else receives it.
This article is still being written: it explains what the screen is for, and its steps are not written yet.
When you move cash from a drawer or safe to another branch or to the bank, you record it with Send cash. The cash leaves the source account at once, and reaches the destination account only when someone else receives and counts it. If what arrives differs from what was sent, the difference waits for someone with the permission to review it.
You'll find it in the sidebar under Finance → Cash in transit. Owners, managers and cashiers send cash; a manager, or someone given the Cash receiver role at their branch, receives it.
