Payroll runs

Under Payroll you build the company's pay from its components and each employee's profile, then calculate each period's run, review it and have someone else approve it before posting and paying.

Under Payroll → Payroll components you define the earnings and deductions your company uses, and under Compensation profiles you keep each employee's pay agreement from a given date. Then under Payroll runs you calculate one run per period, review it, have someone other than the preparer approve it, then post and pay it. Sahab never sets statutory rates or payroll rules; the company confirms them before its first run.

The owner prepares runs and manages profiles and components, and so can anyone given a role with the payroll management permission. Someone given the Payroll approver role approves them.
